This website exists to let you know what the Unity Park Advisory Council is up to.

Unity Park is located at 2636 N Kimball Ave (between Wrightwood and Diversey Avenues) in the Logan Square neighborhood on Chicago's Northwest side.

THE DOME OF DOOM!

at Unity Park in Logan Square, 2636 N. Kimball Ave on Sun., Aug. 22nd, from 6 - 8 pm,
The event featured The Order of Odd-Fish author James Kennedy, Anthony Moseley, Environmental Encroachment and the amazing Dome of Dome set up in the middle of Unity Park.

Art in the Park a Success!

 

Despite the heat, the turnout for Art in the Park exceeded our expectations!

Participants of all ages and skill levels came to paint and were treated to food/beverages from a host of local restaurants (thanks Cafe Con Leche/Logan Square, El Rinconcito, The Bolier Room, Strak & Van Til, Treat and Walgreens) and a lunchtime music performance by Son Del Viento. Art from the Park: The Exhibition @ MAAF Photos & Video!!

Art from the Park: The Exhibition was held at Unity Community Gallery, 2601 N Milwaukee Ave ( at Logan BLVD ) from Friday, July 23rd thru Sunday, July 25th, 2010.  The exhibit is now closed but UPAC thanks all those who came to view and purchase pieces from the show!!

 

Pumpkinfest 2010 Saturday, October 23rd!

File 36 Now in its 10th year, Pumpkinfest is one of our biggest events and has been a don't miss event on the Fall Calendar since 2001. This year we will give out hundreds of pumpkins (while supplies last), provide pumpkin decorating stations, offer face painting and host a costume parade through Unity Park.

Earth Day 2010

Due to the support of many volunteers and neighbors, the Unity Park Advisory Council's 2010 Earth Day observance was a tremendous success. New flowers were planted, litter was removed and a tree was planted in the southwest corner of the Park. Stop by the Park and see how great the new flowers and tree look!
